I disabled guest commenting due to getting spam the past few days. I'm not sure if this is a problem only I am experiencing or if it's an issue throughout Smackjeeves, but right now guests can only rate comics.

I also really need to get back to making comics. I'm not even laughing at my idiocy anymore.

I apologize for the complete lack of updates over the past three months. Preparing for college can be a major butt biter, especially when it comes to finding the money to go. Applying to jobs, applying to scholarships, applying to grants - it gets really tiring after putting in months of work only to receive near to none in return. I've been looking at other ways to help myself reach that goal, such as planning a garage sale and asking around for art commissions. But, still the same story.

Which helps to explain that l'il donation button at the bottom of this webpage. Even with FAFSA giving me $8100 in help altogether, it still leaves me short over 20 grand. I've decided to turn to random strangers on the Internet to see if they would be so kind as to help out. I don't expect you guys to throw money at me, but if there's any spare change in your Paypal accounts and wish to help out, go right on ahead. If you want to give me commission work, do it. Just spread the word, as truth be told, I am running out of time. If you can't donate, at least spread the word wherever possible, because every cent does count.

Again, apologies for not updating as much as I really said I would. Life's been starting to get a little bit busy, to put it simply. More or less trying to find a job, and I'm filling out applications and going to interviews, while in the meantime finding some ways to help raise money without a job.

I'm searching for scholarships and grants now that I've been accepted at an art school as a transfer student. Trying to figure out housing, what I should bring (despite the fact that I'll begin attending next fall), and all that fun stuff. My final class for the semester is approaching, so I'm trying to get that project done, as well as write articles and make a school appropo comic for the student newspaper.

In short, I actually have a legitimate excuse why I'm not updating, though I will publish any comic I make as soon as I finish them, finish drawing new comics I've been leaving hanging, and put new ideas to paper.

One day I'll just have a MST3k marathon and just draw all day at my drawing board. I churn out one rough comic every episode, just about.

Lately I've been seeing a very low and disappointing amount in my comics lately. I'm not going to make any promises that I'll get better and such, because right now I have the bigger responsibility of finding a job. I expect that would be something I have to do to avoid getting kicked out of here, though if I find a lot of payed art gigs, it'll be a start.

I'll try to at least be more active in message boards though. Sort of my side project of 'getting my comic known by a bunch of more people'. My other side project of 'saying correct syntaxly words' is being put on the side for presently.

Going to California for some fun times plus Comic Con later tonight. I'm sorry that my computer's been acting like a little derpish with Photoshop as of late, and I'm sorry for slacking off on my comics a lot. However, I just joined the Twaggies team. Twaggies is a cartoon site that illustrates humorous tweets, and all illustrations are available for sale as t-shirts as far as I know, so I'm hoping that can act as passive income for me once that ball's rolling.

So I will be making illustrations on top of making comics for this website on top of finding a job on top of a lot of other things, so while I can't promise I will do 3 comics a week for the rest of forever, I will try to churn them out.

Who knows? Maybe a 10 day trip will get me motivated again. And I have a drawing pad with me so I can draw my experiences while on the Greyhound road as well as drawing memories with my friend.

Also I've signed into Project Wonderful, so hopefully more readers will see this comic and show it to friends and the like.

Reuploading all my comics on deviantArt again since I've decided to switch accounts. Trying to get back into the swing of making comics, but the medicine I'm taking now plus searching for a job is making me sleepy and just bluh.

Just got to get into a routine of sorts again. And not one where I sit on my butt all day on the computer. :I

I am currently in the process up uploading all my comics to my deviantArt page at a rate of 10 per day. I will still upload comics here as normal, but they will also be uploaded onto there as well.

That and an added amount of pointless stress(TM) may bring down the number of comics. Considering I'm taking 4 art classes this term, I'll probably have a ton of drawing on my hands. And then there's the newspaper I'll be returning to. So there's still hope for the comic not being abandoned.

Not that I'd do that or anything.
